I've got to make a tribute to my mother,
The woman who never said never,
The one who never called my dreams a blunder,
I just know I'll love you forever.
Don't remember much from when I was a baby,
But I heard tales from one lovely lady,
You were the one who never told me maybe,
Because you kept from dark paths so shady.
I remember a litle from when I was a toddler,
That I loved the woman that I called mother,
Day after day I know i'd wonder,
If you'd let me take dark path and go asunder.
The days came when I was a naughty teenager,
I never had a frown because I'd see you later,
I prayed for days that nothing would ever change her,
Because if she did i'd always be in danger.
And now i'm a man called an adult,
I see you crying, it's not your fault,
I now so smile because i know your thought,
You're thinking of the days you spanked my butt!
