That time of year when the weather is cold
Loneliness peeks and begins to unfold
No laughter shared, I love yous untold
No one to hold me when the weather gets cold.
No one til be thankful for but my family & friends.
No one to go home to when the day comes to an end
No one to listen with as holiday stories are told
No one to keep me warm when the weather gets cold
I look out the window as the weather begins to change
And watch as that time of year approaches again
As tears run down my face, I don't know what to do
As the cold fills my chest, I turn holiday blue.
