Call my name like that again, see I like when you say that, and even more, I like hearin my name roll off your lips, that ish get me goin, say it one more time.......BOOOOOOOOO....Yea..I like hearin the boos and talk of those who cannot understand, a ghetto quran and bible wrapped up into a bronze statue that stands on his own terms and not in front of anyone's building, I'm too good to be stood up and paraded around as a sculpture, I'm more of that black vulture that God sent down from the sky to scavenge, see I'm a savage with this, more of a damn rebel, unlike UNLV though, I aint runnin from nobody, I'm just runnin laps around a craft that they said wasn't made for inner city bretheren, and they only think that cause us hood poets are better than your average, cause we have stories that only the hood can relate too, sickness and health is dealt with by all, but civil war is only felt by those who lived in the warzone, chrome was the metal of choice, as smoke filled blocks disguised deceased bodies until it cleared, and it was clear that they didnt care about us, cause when the guns bust, they left us to envelope in our own screams, mother's tears drained down thru the sewer drains and brains was bubble gum stuck to the streets pavement, wages remained minimum while death was at a maximum, slim chance at survival was seen through our eyes, so we aligned ourselves with the stars, whether five or six points, none of this to pay homage to our Ancient Kemet forefathers, but for the fact that most of us grew up without fathers, and even some that did, they still aint have em like they were supposed too, so no, in this place, it wasn't read or blue, it was right or left that could send you to death, folks and peoples was what we called each other, but we were far from blood brothers, we were like distant cousins that should've got along, but we missed out on the message of family when they were preachin it, and it became too late when we finally started to see it, that which the smart ones talked on for the longest, because by then, Mother Earth had taken back most of the same kids she had given birth too, so they can miss me with this false war on terror, cause I been involved in the ghetto civil war since 1984
