I never knew what death was like, until I knocked on its door a few times, see he didn't look as bad as I thought he would, he lived in my neighborhood, right outside on the streets, a simple man with a discouragin look, yet he could never be beat, no matter how big, or how many gats the gangsters held, they feared him, they seen hell when they seen him, so they kept runnin in the opposite direction, this was the only brother who was Jesus like in my eyes, cause his perfection was comin to knock on everyone's door at a certain time, and everytime he did, he got what he wanted, so I wanted to visit him personally for myself, I ran up the steps and simply rang the doorbell, he answered with a cool grin and his brim ed to the right side, see tonight, he was going to go hit up some brothers rockin that left side, and it wasnt nothin personal, it was just business, cause he was in the business of getting what he wanted, he told me to ride with him, he had more than a few stops to make, and at every light, every street corner it seemed, I heard pops, moans, tires screeching across the pavement..and he was just there being chill, me, I was scared like all to be damned, but he told me man, chill, I got this, he walked up to the first man who was shot, and he stopped breathing, he walked in the house of the parents whose baby who had just started teething, too bad that bullet went straight through her jaw, and then he walked over to the alley way, and that brother who tried to run away, the one who was clinging on for dear life, his heart stopped as soon as this brother looked at him, he came back to the car and we drove off, I was quiet at first, then I asked him a question, I said how do you know where to be at all times, he said its simple, you poison the minds of the youth and steer them away from the truth, let their only aspiration be that rap booth, tell em their only loot will come from 8 balls, let em know that the problems they have to solve must be done with clips, and just like that, I go pick em up..he dropped me off, but before I left, he told me one thing, he said son, some of your friends gonna meet me in the near future, so ensure that your secure yours for longevity
