In whirlwinds of emotion
Fueled by an epicenter of love
I’ve imagined you
In vivid dreams and mind wanders
But our reality is ultimately
What my heart yearns for
My tongue ponders revealing three sweet words
If they slip I’ll live unnerved
Because eventually I see them dedicated to you
I feel love when I think of a future with you
And I apologize if this is direct
If I crossed a boundary by presenting you with honesty
But honestly my love for you has no patience
And time waits for no man
I’d rather no seconds wasted

Know the proclamation is not an attempt

The honest tongue and open thought

Know every word escaping my mouth

Is insured by my inner being

I say the phrase beyond a shadow of a doubt

Aware of all intent and meaning

Hoping you understand

Revealing my want for her with conviction
Using brash inflection as a weapon
Causing her hidden desires
To completely surrender to me
