Our strength comes from within
It's infused in our DNA
It may show up unexpectedly
But it never goes away.
Our strength comes when we stand
Before our enemies face to face
It's how we hold back our hands
Through God's mercy and grace.
Our strength comes from
The sweetest little things
That mend the pieces of broken hearts
Without a needle and a string.
Strength doesn't need a mask
In order to be shown
It's there to let our enemies know
That our lives are our own!
We gain strength from family and friends
Which at times may be tested
Strength is the rock we stand on
And by any definition remains attested
You already have your strength
It never has to be found
It is the thread we are mended by
The means in which we are bound.
