Let go my Eggo my once upon a time Hero no longer holding the title of my Nero you’re just a Zero no longer worthy of my Hello left my feelings wobbling like Jell-o sticky like Jelly left a pain in my Belly country grammar like Nelly I finally had the strength to let you Go let my emotions Blow and let my beauty Glow though the process was Slow I managed to say No to you who had my heart stuck like Glue feeling Blue eyes always Red from the lies you fed my Head my life feeling like Dread locked into the power of your Words like Swords ripping the very being from my Soul how Bold you were to let me Fold under the spell of your Untold schemes that later had a Hold and felt so Cold against the skin of my heart that Beat with the Heat of longing for a Love that I soon realized that could only come from Above like a Dove so beautiful you had me Entangled and Dangled in the form of a Rectangle with no equal Angles…Let go my Eggo I no longer say Hello to your Ego like Beyonce it’s just Me Myself and I in the end I move you to the Left so that I may turn Right back on the road less Traveled and Unravel the mystery that lies ahead though I Dread the Red heart that is beating within my Chest like a chick in its Nest I fear the enemy of Lonliness but I Attest I will Arrest this Mess and Dress my outward Mask with the Task of letting you go my mind says No but my heart says, Let Go My Eggo…

THE STORMI gotta hurricane of problems flowing through my mind like a tsunami flooding the very depth of my heart, body and soul. A typhoon of recurring events that steady circle my world like a tornado on an open plain I feel deserted and alone. No one to cry out to for help just me and my abyss of helplessness. The storms of life are encamping around my being and like a heavy fog I see no way out. As my fist pound the earthquakes under me I ask the question over and over again why me? Where’s my shelter from this storm?
