Imagine being born to lose, but still determined to win, sometimes it feel like in determined, and this world is the pen, sometimes I feel the fire burning, world keep judging my skin, while I chase a higher learning, world keep taking my friends, hit the blunt and try to laugh, but deep inside I feel hollow, emotions always like a mask, keep it inside is the motto, hope my kids don’t take my path, just might die from that sorrow, grew up with a lot of boys, just a few became men, grew up hearing violent noise, now half my boys seen the pen, for them I chase out countless joys, and keep it real no pretend, my Daddy said to be a King, to get a throne best prepare, but first I wanna meet a Queen, aint scared to wear her own hair, as I grow it all gets clearer, so much protection in we, take a look into the mirror, her reflection is me.

Long RoadMe and my girl been funking lately, and frankly it's a shame, cause all she wanted was a baby, and to get my last name, she done held me down through jail, bail, court dates, and such, so much my heart won't let me tell, so I escape through her touch, responsible to an extent, nobody guided my path, responsible naw no resent, I feel her pride and I laugh, kinda hard to raise a child, done seen broke parents use candles, promise to always make you smile, don't lose your hope, or your handle, hold me tight against the world, rather as soul, or as flesh, know we gone fight against the world, long as the goal is our best, the road is long I confess, the road is loaded with stress, just know this road is a test, the greatest story ever told, and you put it in context! |
