This city smells like
Blood to me
Walking alone
In these streets
I have no home
Where did it go?
I don’t know
It use to be
Right here
Now it’s gone
Where can it be?
Where is my family
Smoke in my hair
The fire rose up
From the ground
Like a dragon coming up
From the sea
It’s too dark to see
In front of me
Man on the moon
Looking down on me
I have no ladder to climb
If I did find a way
They’ll just push me
Back down
