I can't love you

I am Whomever I chose to be Yesterday I was quiet they thought I was shy Today I am sassy snapping fingers and rolling eyes Tomorrow I will be fun, free spirited and full of life The day after I may be productive no time for hellos only goodbyes Who says we have to be the same person everyday Well for me that just won't do I have the right to be who I choose too I can change every day if I want too I do what I feel I follow my heart Tomorrow is a brand new day And with that day comes a brand new start So you'll know that I'm never the same Just like my feelings my personality change You may never know the real me I protect myself by being a mystery

Absence of Poetry

For a brief moment we grew apart I missed you so much I don't know where to start I have so much to tell you So many feelings to share I felt lost with you not being there My mind was filled with so many thoughts Lost in my head with no place to go A manifestation of hopes and dreams I thought I lost you forever That's how it seemed ALTHOUGH I felt you in my heart I just don't know It's like the words just wouldn't flow I put the pen to my paper Staring at a black page I couldn't express myself No progress for days Without you present I didn't feel like myself I didn't feel SoFloeticAndFree Yet somehow someway you have found me And once again my pen can flow free So floetically So poetically There is no stopping me You enviably motivate me To paint a picture with words Expressing myself so vividly I hope I never again have to experience the absence of poetry

Saying Goodbye

I never meant to hurt you I hate to see you cry and I don't want to but I have to say goodbye I love you more than words can express but this relationship is causing too much stress When you lie to me it breaks my heart and when you cry to me it tears me apart because your so strong but your vulnerable with me you let down your guard and you allow me to see beyond the man that you appear to be and I will love you for that for eternity But as of now all I can see is the pain you caused when you hurt me Although it may be hard for you to see I didn't walk out that door you pushed me

Hater

A hater is not a hater

Their a fan to me

Smiling in my face but praying for my downfall

Following me around keeping tabs on what I do

Damn it must really suck to be you

And yea I know you wish that you were me

I see your eyes full of jealousy and envy

Mad at me because you feel short

Not enough motivation

Belief in yourself

Your hate is gonna leave you all by yourself

Lonely and sad

Mad and confused

Because you hate to see people do better than you

So you choose to talk s*** instead of doing better for yourself

Trap in a life thats miserable and sad

Dwelling on the life that you could have had

Someone who has just accepted their circumstances

To scared to get out here and take real chances

It wasn't love and it wasn't lust so when you played me I couldn't cry because I didn't love you

and we never had sex so lust wasn't in the equation

but when i was with you i felt so Amazing

like i was in the sky floating on a cloud

the thought of you gave me a natural high

and even though I feel hurt about what you did

I can't find the proper word to describe this feeling

Time after time the thought replays in my head

Why is it so hard to give credit where credit is due

That's taking it too far

I often wonder why women try to tear eachother apart

Why not give props to eachother

None of us are perfect

We all have our own struggles

Is it so hard to keep it real

Tell her she looks good today

If shes struggling

Tell her everything will be ok

Pray that the Lord takes her pain away
