#3) Freestyle Poetry

There's a problem with this world today, 

That many may not see as their own.

The problem I believe has stemmed from things,

As if it were your child and u just left them all alone.

Never talked about, or confronted.

People stay building up the fronts

And never givin it up to nothin.

People ever lovin their wants,

And hardly ever givin up the wantin.

It's more, more, I need more,

I hardly have a lil so I need more.

To the store's, 

Where are u for the poor,

Why is it only the ones who have a lil 

Always need some more.

To the state's,

When u heard the knocks at ur door's,

Why was there any question of why don't we do more for the poor.

The world is in a decline,

And we're just givin up on ourselves. 

When we should be givin up the goods to better ourselves.

#2 Freestyle Poetry

 I already tried to write the second installment of these freestyles, and lost it due to tech error. Oh well he goes nothin!

"There is no try only do."

This holds deep meaning

To me.

As wisdom flourishes throw my soul.

The wisdom this life holds forever grows.

While I delve deep down in my whole.

I come to find a dull glow,

A glow that must always 

Be cherished.

A man once said, "U need some soul searching, your time is now".

Hold onto these wise lines u find, and seek deep inside to tell me what u find!

Life is but a moment, who knows if we get a next.

So why not make the most of it,

And do all we can 

To earn some respect.

Real is what u make it,

Sitting, Waiting

 Sitting, Waiting

Sitting, waiting to hear all the sounds in the air.
The bustle of leafs in the trees wrestle the breeze.
I hear the sound of the air whooshing at my ears.
There go sounds of whistles from the neighborhood birds.
How those birds tweet so well, and
I always enjoy hearing them fly off too.
The zing’s of insect’s flying by.
Buzz off bugs don’t bother me tonight.
I hear the trampling and frolicking of rascally vermin,
hunting around in the backyard.
The sounds of motors being ignited,
speed car's passed the intersection
down on the street.
I’m on my balcony
to the side of my building.
Facing the side street from the busy main,
that is in the front of my building.
Who blew that bull horn?
Fwooo! (Made me jump)
Slaps from the tires hitting flatten old scrap.
I hear...

Don't Doubt Take the Trash Out(Villanelle)

If u have ever had a doubt
on were a dreadful day may be going.
Do something like take the trash out.

If there was ever any reason to pout,
take the first chance u have to figure out.
If u have ever had a doubt.

Keep on believing what u say you’re about.
Make an earnest attempt to resolve, and
do something like take the trash out.

If your heading the wrong direction, try another route.
There's a higher formula to prevail,
if u have ever had a doubt.

Live out your life fighting a worthy bout.
"Making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil."
So, do something like take the trash out.

Carry on toiling to stay vigorous and stout.
Exercise this life, revolutionizing your rights.
If you have ever had a doubt,

Sick Heart

I just sit and think only of myself,
because of my sick heart.

Through my acknowledgment I've started the healing process.
It is preposterous to think of this ill-heartedness.

Sick hearts have no room to hide,
this sickness fills up on the inside.

Yet on the outside there is no sign of my hearts disease.
Though at the core of it's a cold and bitter heart.
This doesn't leave the body have a chance to consider a healthy way of recovering.

I'm lost on this path I my heart has blazed.
Spewing out nonsense
from this vileness stored up in me.

Slipping and backsliding
all over this filth my heart has compiled.

I unravel!

Alike gravel under my feet; my heart is to me,
People have trampled on it, and I just can't seem to heal,
and it's becoming to hard to deal with.

Being heart sick is like any other illness.
It strikes at the core of you, though

I heard it off the corner,

that’s where you can hear it plain as day.

It’s the word that’s what I heard,

God bless them all I pray.

It was fantastic to me,

to be the poet who knows it.

Acknowledging the need to be free in this discovery

of spoken word.

The word is nothing devious or dastardly,

It’s apparently a common courtesy

for people to speak passionately

about their beliefs.

The word of mouth can be as sharp as an axe.

The word of mouth can be as shinny as price silver.

The word of mouth can sliver through you like a worm through the dirt of the world.

It’s the word of mouth that sustains and finds its way into us.

The word is that which makes its home within us.

Jumped in the Streets

Being the bonehead
home breed
out doing what I do.
School me,
Fool me, or
Dual me.

See what’s open
all alone.
Do what’s new too,
a ride
highlights
street lights.

Find out what life is like,
and hold your head high.
I’m ready,
willing,
and able.

Control what’s yours!
Explore
to find some more.
recall,
prevail,
and take care.

I strayed in the streets
now drunken, and
away from home.

stoned,

I'm confronted in my
hometown.
I'm headstrong,

dead wrong,

All alone I strolled, then
delayed
by this mismanaged night.
I'm up after the fight, and

tonight.

thugs.

I think I have some crying to do.
From songs I won’t let go of.
I need a realization in my skull;
it’s all boggled and swollen;
Staying detained;
delayed all in a haze;
misconduct all in vain.
Get your head outta your butt,
before you’re left out
into the sewer and you're
floating with the fish.
It’s my suspicions
someone wants me to die.

See the birds in the sky,
and they echo “Why oh why?"
"Look they die.”
How wise they see the mess from all around.
They pick up droplets of strife,
“What you think of him now?”
“Not what I like.” “Ca-Ca Ca-Ca”

I need a break
or I’m broke.
Relax from all the mixes I’ve been mixing.
Stuff I’ve heard, and dread to even let go of.

The Other Sides

 The Other Sides

The road to redemption should go past at last.
The road to perdition could be full of indecision,
and leave terror as harmful as the past.

Follow on paths led on by souls of fallen out brothers.
Please stay in control, not under it, that’s for the slow.
Following on my path, I go,
passing by planters of perished paper,
preserving pesky poetry.
Presenting a way,
it’s hard to say where I might end up today.

I have to outlast each side,
