It's been a while since I've been on here and spoke my mind, heart and soul. Feels good as always.

An Old Friend

CATEGORY

romance

Now we're both involved with someone

We had our fun

Now that chapter is done

We both was drunk, horny, and young

It never led to anything serious

But I never did regret the experience

Now all of a sudden you're curious

As to see what might have been

So now you want to relive the past again

But I'm sorry my friend

I can't let that happen

It would prove to be a huge mistake

That we both just can't afford to make

It would be too big of a gamble

Our hearts and minds would be scrambled

And that's a consequence I couldn't handle

So why add complexity to such sweet simplicity

For one final moment of intimacy

Let's leave things the way they are

Not take our friendship too far

Once lines get crossed

We're mixed up and lost

Besides it isn't fair to the ones we cherish

What's worse our friendship is left to perish

So tell me is it worth one more time?

Infidelity adultery the ultimate crime

Maybe if we were single you could've been mine

But let's view our situation and take it as a sign
