 Lost love.

If you love them, then let them go.
Hide your heart, never let the pain show.

They hurt you, don't give them the victory.
Stand tall amongst adversity and live life only for thee.

Emotions are you're enemy, your heart will betray you.
Kindness is a luxury that can't be let through.

For with time, all wounds will be healed.
The bleeding will stop and the scratches will be sealed.

Be strong in your time of sorrow, grieve only within.
Have a smile on the outside, let no one come in.

For your heart is a wasteland now, lifeless and lost.
Maybe love can grow once again, but it'll come at a cost.

Play the cards you were dealt, never show your hand.
Walk the lone man's path, pay close attention to the land.

It is here where life may start a new, and love can heal and grow.
Left alone to forget, to erase the events from the previous show.

If you love something then you must let it go.
But how much can you take before you let it show.

How much torture must be given, how many tears held back?
When can the pain stop, when can the healing get on track?
