Woke up in the morning
Feeling funny
Something going to happen
But what
Something I can’t imagine
But does it matter
I’m going push down in my depths
Man I want to forget
I grab my keys heading to the door
Turn my doorknob
Make my way to the store
I ignore
The fighter jets in the sky
Don’t know why
That would have probably saved my life
Don’t think twice about life
Something going down tonight
I should have brought a knife
But I digress
Grabbing things
People making a scene
Trying to ignore these fools
Because I got stuff to do
But I glared and bared my teeth
Something inside of me
Wanted me to hurry
But my story just beginning
Then I heard screaming
It felt like this was the ending
I see the panic in the people eyes
Horrible screams
Of taken lives
Happening before my eyes
Tearing swelling inside
So devastated crowd
Make it to the door
Crimson blood on the floor
Mangled bodies at the door
The once bitten
Rigor mortis ridden
Now became the living
Walking dead twitching
Getting up on a mission
Making their way to my position
Only seeing this kind of in movies
I hurry
Grabbing the closes things to me
God I pray that it’s a machete
But I’m unlucky
It’s only a stick
I was quick
In my stride
Not really wanting to die
I sprung into action
Making decision
Taking charge from these idiots
Barricade the window
Drop a table in from of it
If you have to
Screams echo the streets
I can hear the many chomping of rotten teeth
On fallen comrade fresh meat
But I seek
A safer place to replace
This scene in front of me
We must hurry
Getting supplies
Get the food
Brace yourself
Grab weapons too
Anything to surviving
Man I don’t want to die
I felt like forever where I'm at
I can’t remember when I last slept
Ammunition we don’t got
Our best bet is to try to get better weapons
Government isn’t helping
They started this war
I bet there is no cure
For what’s in store
On the other side of that door
I can’t think no more
Ready troops
In the night
Don’t want to fight
Let’s just make it quick
It a slip to the right
Faster than a beam of light
We in a hurry
I was worried
Casualties wouldn’t be our end
Damn man I was wrong again
The in our group
Had show off his balls
Making ruckus for nothing
Bring unwanted attention to us all
Red eyes burned in the night
Hordes coming
Now it’s time to fight
Forget that
Man I want my life
Finally found my knife
Ready myself
This goes against my own plight
Group running from fright
Thousands of hungry beasts
Come into my sight
Tough bastards wanna fight
I take my chance
A megaphone echoes through my ears
Telling us to flee
The safe house is 7 blocks east
Tired feet pounding at ground
Running hard through the smog
From a field
Of burning cars
I almost forgot where we are
Safety in my sights
Holding my breath
Begging for strength
And the bimbo of the group had to fall
If I didn’t care
I wouldn’t helped slowat all
Half the group ventured off
Leaving us alone
Three other people stay along
Forget it
We better off by ourselves
That way we will fair
Other folks, I don’t care
I hear those cowards screaming in fear
Dammit they took our gear
It almost sound kind of near
I will pretend not to hear
They took our supplies
And left us to die
s make me sick
I hope whiskey makes me forget
Again let’s be quick
We almost at the safe house door
Then we won’t have to endure
This anymore
Busting through the door
Safe from harm
Not alarm
Smiling human face greet my eyes
I survived
I can’t believe I made it through this
Must have been like a zombie flick
