Everyday just a case of survival while political system tries
its best to divide us
Struggling just to make ends meet, to us no surprise the
powers to be wish to see our demise
With resilence a part of our very being, the system is astonished
by what they are seeing, our heads are not down, we are still around
, we are still smiling, we are still styling, yeah we are still living
amongst the killing, stealing and the drugs
while all the do gooders are running to the suburbs
With all their might the system tries to hold us back, just
part of being Black is our answer to their demeaning solutions
they bring to all our new generations
Back to the concrete jungle, living life through the hunger
through all the lightning and thunder
Politicians, do gooders, just remember what you see
is what you get and you aint seen nothing yet
Back to the concrete jungle, one last thing polticians coming
your way, we are here to stay
