Burning heat
Humid air
People enjoying this weather everywhere
Still motion
Sitting around waiting
Sun rays beaming on the back of my neck
Clear crystals of sweat settle on my head
In between my breast
Slick like freshly licked lips
I sip this $5 chocolate coffee bliss
I suddenly miss the cold frosted air
I swear silently under my breath
As the position I’m in is scorching my back
Some weird dessert treat challenges my taste
Something strange about it reminds me of cake
But it takes the shape of a muffin
I wish I wouldn’t have bought it
It’s kind of disgusting
But full bloomed flowers beautiful to my sight
Sweet aroma tickles my senses
Surrounded by benches
And vast arrays of people enjoying each other
Hot breeze blows through my thin cotton shirt
Wish I bought a skirt for this occasion
Wanting it to rain again
But I’m glad I didn’t stay in
