In Life
In life we have the choice be good or be great
Be legendary or settle for average, I guess at the end of the road none of it matters
Live a life full of regrets, or making memories filled with blessings and laughter
Me Im choosing the latter
Its not about how you move through disaster, the proof is in what you do in the “after”

Losing it
I can feel it my chest pounding, the pressures to succeed compounding
Trying to surpass survival and thrive is astounding, couldnt move it so im climbing this mountain
Struggling to block out the noise around me, engulfed in content and its affecting my well being
Ignoring what the past is telling me, honestly im hoping the past will be propellers for me
Cant express my frustrations verbally or intelligently, that fear of failure is beginning to swallow me
Except now, Im not failing just myself-Im failing my everything
Its OK is what shes telling me, I dont believe it because what just happened is the thread of my fiber unravelling
Face to face with a ghost of the past challenging me, but dont mistake this as a case of me being cowardly

Step outta the present for second to see what my past was seeing, so I can recalculate the route of the path Im leading
Something feels off, travel to the beginning of my future to see the effects of the signs Im seeing
I can feel it in the air, or am I misreading?
But I cant shake these reoccurring dreams, it's like time is bleeding
But I cant react to my subconscious, even if what I'm finding is treason
Guess its back to being a monster season, proactive solutions that will cause a fraction of emotions to be redacted to prevent their collusion

My paranoia is a reality, I will gladly let it devour me
You need to understand, Ive been surround by casualties while casually acting callously

Drunk off emotions, searching for a gateway to escape from the pain
Guess its back to long range driving again
Mentally drained, or temporarily physical strained

How can I stand tall, when certain laws were designed to keep me small?
