My mind speaks to me
My thoughts give me life My dreams portray hope While my emotions shape me Bathe me and discover me These thoughts were once pain But something changed meMy focus my vision Made me become stronger Made me more woman over time These curves these breast They don't define me They help shield me from the dogsMy mind speaks of power Let's me know I'm dangerous No man can tame this For I am all woman Courageous yet silent Intelligent yet still yearns for more knowledgeI am a walking piece of art A book filled with words but yet mistaken My appearance draws you in But my inside will scare youA woman of all women Forced on the shelf of man's cupboard
