(This poem is about the evils of Toxic Relationships)
Roses And Black Eyes
Don't give me a rose after you have blooded my nose
Don't blacken my eyes where I can't see the sky
A beautiful rose, a token for my beauty can be given
not after a quarrel from a guilt trip you are living
Honorable men will cherish his woman not make her feel like dirt
but there are those who play heartless games just to make us hurt
But in reality, he is juist looking for a way to escape
Now don't get me wrong, there are plenty of good men
who is willing to love his mate deeply from within
Who will walk away, and a woman he will not fight
And later come back if the relationship is right
Women love yourself for who you are, and demand your respect
Show that you are the queen of virtue, and this you must nurture
Little princesses are watching, and they will repeat what they see
Roses and black eyes, and their thoughts of will this be me
So men give your lady a rose with a kiss on their beautiful eyes that will look back at you with loving surprise
