Don’t look me up on the book; instead look up the one who promised prosperity in his book.
Let’s remember, Jesus said follow him and no one else. Yet we follow thousands of others with no gain. So Pain is what we choose to endure because we choose to be blind; we choose social religion instead over a healthy relationship. We choose Instagram over family pictures, Facebook over face to face communication. We go on twitter rants instead prayer sessions; then we get mad when our dirty laundry gets aired through the bandwidths of a thousand eyes. Can’t you see?? It’s the blind leading the blind into distorted contorted images of false witnesses.
"Watch me work bro" NAH I much rather watch God and the plan he has for me work through me. People be like, "do it for the vine" try livin right for Christ!
I don’t need 1000 likes to validate how Christian I am. I don’t need you hash taggin me to keep me informed of news u so sloppily torn.
Don’t tweet to me the gossip I rather read the gospel. How can we ever learn to be independent individuals when we’re leaning on the shoulders of stranger’s for entertainment? How can we ever learn to be dependent on God if we're constantly depending on those with empty hearts and words from others who dont speak with autority.
We don’t wanna hear the truth, we wanna be lied to! We wanna hear the stories of other’s lives and not pay attention to the fact they are nothing more than lies upon more lies. Let’s be honest, people are choosing comforting lies over HIS comforting spirit!
Whatever happened to hand written letters filled with sincerity?
There’s nothing wrong with change but let’s not change the fact that we are still humans, not robots. The words I love you sound so much more meaningful coming from your mouth rather than your thumbs.
Technology changes every day but we remain the same. We are born, we grow then we die. So with that, I much rather die knowing I wasn’t born to conform to your social religion. Don’t get it twisted, I do socialize in religion. I surround myself with men and women of God not computer screens and tablets.
I do not stress my burdens to the media sites when they can do nothing but graze upon my pain, I will not feed you with the fork of the serpents tongue.
Instead I will give my feast of burdens to the one who lives internally eternally.
Today’s society pushes us to be social more than anything else. Everyone is worried about being connected to the right people, but are you connected to God?
Realize that technology is now omnipresent. One click and I can see where you are in the world but you can’t tell me where you are in your walk with God?
We end our nights with Facebook scrolls instead of scrolling through the bible. We say good night to thousands without asking the one who created the day and the night to look over our nightly slumber! First thing in the morning we rush to check our Facebook and Instagram but can’t thank god for allowing us to see another day!?? I’m not telling you to stop using these sites but merely look at your life…
